Sesame Sings The Rainbow Connection

I still vividly remember how it looked: it's all shiny-black with a small colorful sticker of a label/brand on it. It's the only "expensive" thing my mother can afford then. People from the province call it multiplex, some cassette player, others, simply, radio.  For me, it was the most beautiful thing. It was portable so I bring it everywhere with me. Plug it in the nearest outlet. Or have it powered on with eight double A batteries. My nanay bought me cassette tapes of children's songs which up to now I still sing. In the shower. It nurtured my love of anything that has to do with being a child. It nurtured my love of melody. Of music. Even if music did not love me back - the frustrations of a Celine Dion-wannabe. Gusto ko bumibirit!=p

Why are there so many songs about rainbows
And what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions,
