First, the invitation.
To artists and to those interested in and appreciative of the arts, please drop by Reposo street (N.Garcia) in Bel-Air, Makati City for the annual arts festival (Likha Ng Sining) spearheaded by the Grupo Reposo artists next week, May 12 and 13, 2012. I am lucky to have been a part of an organization which partners with the group year after year to dedicate one whole day (this year, two whole days!) to celebrate art.
These pictures were taken in last year's arts festival. As early as 8:00 in the morning, the entire stretch of Reposo street was bursting with energy, passion and color as artists, young and old, came full force not to really showcase their talents but more than that, to celebrate art and all things beautiful related to it. It's magical to be surrounded with people doing that one thing they love and they are most passionate about.
